Junior Cassidy David, who was a two-time state qualifier in 2023, continued her streak as champion in the 100-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard individual medley. She also participated in the regional-qualifying 200-yard medley relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay.
Freshman Gracie Coyler finished second in the 200-yard freestyle, while sophomore Zorah Schwald-Stang qualified in the 100-yard backstroke, the 500-yard freestyle and the 400-freestyle relay. Brooklyn Bursiel placed third in the 200-yard freestyle and swam in two qualifying relays.
WHS head swim coach Jill Johnson was honored as the District 14-4A Girls Coach of the Meet and was assisted by Mercedes Salinas.
The 4A-Region IV swim meet will be held on Feb. 2-3 at the Southwest ISD Aquatic Center in San Antonio.
